Little Dino in America
In der 5. Folge der Little Dino Serie ist unser kleiner Held in Amerika unterwegs. Auf nach Amerika!, Bei den Indianern, Im Wilden Westen, Blues in New Orleans, Am Broadway, bilden die verschiedenen Teile dieser Folge. Das musikalische Hauptmotiv, das die Hauptperson schon in den vorhergehenden Folgen gekennzeichnet hat, kehrt auch in der Fortsetzung in jeweils veränderter Form wieder.
In the fifth episode of the Little Dino series our little hero visits America. Off to America!, Meeting the Indians, In the Wild West, The Blues in New Orleans, On Broadway, these are the different parts of this episode. The main musical motif that already characterized the protagonist in the former episodes recurs each time in a changed way in the continuation.
Dans le cinquième épisode de la série notre petit héros se retrouve en Amérique: En route vers l’Amérique !, Chez les Indiens, Au Far West, Blues à New Orléans, Broadway, voilà les différentes parties des périples de Little Dino. Le motif musical, qui a déjà caractérisé le personnage central dans les pérégrinations précédentes, revient dans cette œuvre sous des formes différentes.
Little Dino in Scotland
„In the Highlands“ heißt der erste Teil dieses Abenteuers von Little Dino, der uns gleich in die richtige schottische Stimmung versetzt. Ein Besuch in Loch Ness darf natürlich nicht fehlen, ebenso wenig wie Anklänge an die schottische Nationalhymne mit „Little Dino the Brave“. Munter und gut gelaunt endet diese Reise mit dem traditionellen schottischen Tanz „The Céilidh“. Schwierigkeitsgrad: leicht – mittelschwer
The first part of Little Dino's adventure is called "In the Highlands". We enter the right Scottish atmosphere straight away. Needless to say that we cannot miss a visit to Loch Ness or hints to the Scottish national anthem with "Little Dino the Brave". The trip ends happily and with a traditional Scottish Céilidh. Degree of difficulty: easy - average.
Cette nouvelle aventure de „Little Dino“ débute dans les „Highlands“; elle nous plonge immédiatement dans l’ambiance écossaise.

Oberon's Dream
Zeitgleich mit der Komposition eines neuen Werkes für ein Soloinstrument und Klavier las der Komponist A Midsummer Night’s Dream von William Shakespeare. Er war fasziniert von dem Verwirrspiel in dieser Komödie, wobei vor allem die Figur Oberons, des Königs der Elfen, die Phantasie des Komponisten anregte. „Oberon’s Dream“ entführt in eine musikalische Traumwelt, die sich an einer märchenhaften Liebesgeschichte in einer bunten Zauberwelt inspiriert.
While the composer was working on a new piece for solo instrument and piano, he was reading Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He was fascinated by the intricate confusions in this comedy whereby the figure of Oberon, king of the elves, stimulated the composer’s imagination. Oberon’s Dream carries us away into a musical world of dreams, inspired by a spellbound lovestory from a colourful magical world.
Oberon’s Dream, oeuvre pour instrument soliste avec accompagnement de piano, vit le jour lors de la lecture que fit le compositeur du Songe d’une nuit d’été . Fasciné par cette comédie de William Shakespeare, et surtout par le personnage d’Obéron, le roi des fées, il s’en inspira pour créer un monde musical féerique tirant sa substance d’une histoire d’amour reposant sur une atmosphère de conte de fées.

This is the second edition of ‟Little Dino’s” adventures. The composer created “Little Dino” in 2008. Here now, brave ‟Little Dino” slowly falls asleep and begins to dream. Terrible monsters pursue him in a fearsome nightmare until he finally wakes up and seeks consolation. Degree of difficulty: elementary to intermediate.

Unser kleiner Held ist in dieser Folge zuerst auf einem Piratenschiff, erlebt dann einen Piratenangriff, fährt durch eine blaue Lagune, entdeckt daraufhin eine Schatzinsel und nimmt schließlich am Tanz der Piraten teil. Schwierigkeitsgrad: leicht – mittelschwer
In this episode our little hero finds himself on a pirate ship, then he experiences a pirate attack, sails through a blue lagoon, after that he discovers a treasure island and finally takes part in the dance oft he pirates. Level of difficulty: easy – moderately difficult.
Dans cet épisode notre petit héros se trouve d'abord sur un navire de pirates, est confronté à une attaque des pirates, navigue à travers un lagon bleu, découvre l'île au trésor et participe finalement à la danse des pirates. Degré de difficulté: facile à moyen

Sonatine antique
Le compositeur a écrit cette sonatine en 1985 : il s'agit de sa première œuvre. Tout naturellement, il a composé cette pièce de jeunesse pour les instruments qu’il connaissait alors le mieux : hautbois et piano. Il était conscient que cette œuvre était d’une facture assez traditionnelle, voire néoclassique - d’où le titre
« Sonatine antique ».
La pièce comporte trois mouvements : Marche de César, Repos et Contemplation, Promenade.
