Little Dino in Scotland
„In the Highlands“ heißt der erste Teil dieses Abenteuers von Little Dino, der uns gleich in die richtige schottische Stimmung versetzt. Ein Besuch in Loch Ness darf natürlich nicht fehlen, ebenso wenig wie Anklänge an die schottische Nationalhymne mit „Little Dino the Brave“. Munter und gut gelaunt endet diese Reise mit dem traditionellen schottischen Tanz „The Céilidh“. Schwierigkeitsgrad: leicht – mittelschwer
The first part of Little Dino's adventure is called "In the Highlands". We enter the right Scottish atmosphere straight away. Needless to say that we cannot miss a visit to Loch Ness or hints to the Scottish national anthem with "Little Dino the Brave". The trip ends happily and with a traditional Scottish Céilidh. Degree of difficulty: easy - average.
Cette nouvelle aventure de „Little Dino“ débute dans les „Highlands“; elle nous plonge immédiatement dans l’ambiance écossaise.

Little Dino in America
In der 5. Folge der Little Dino Serie ist unser kleiner Held in Amerika unterwegs. Auf nach Amerika!, Bei den Indianern, Im Wilden Westen, Blues in New Orleans, Am Broadway, bilden die verschiedenen Teile dieser Folge. Das musikalische Hauptmotiv, das die Hauptperson schon in den vorhergehenden Folgen gekennzeichnet hat, kehrt auch in der Fortsetzung in jeweils veränderter Form wieder.
In the fifth episode of the Little Dino series our little hero visits America. Off to America!, Meeting the Indians, In the Wild West, The Blues in New Orleans, On Broadway, these are the different parts of this episode. The main musical motif that already characterized the protagonist in the former episodes recurs each time in a changed way in the continuation.
Dans le cinquième épisode de la série notre petit héros se retrouve en Amérique: En route vers l’Amérique !, Chez les Indiens, Au Far West, Blues à New Orléans, Broadway, voilà les différentes parties des périples de Little Dino. Le motif musical, qui a déjà caractérisé le personnage central dans les pérégrinations précédentes, revient dans cette œuvre sous des formes différentes.
Die sieben Zwerge auf Wanderschaft
Die 7 Zwerge begeben sich auf Wanderschaft in sieben verschiedene Regionen oder Länder. Sie sind zu Besuch in Tirol, Spanien, Schweden, Frankreich, Ungarn, Schottland und Italien.
Diese Komposition, die sowohl für Fagott als auch für Klavier sehr einfach gehalten ist, besteht aus 7 verschiedenen Teilen, die dem Stil der jeweiligen Region oder des Landes entspricht. Die Arbeit hat dem Komponisten viel Freude und Vergnügen bereitet und steht unter dem Motto
"Hab' soviel Spaß beim Musizieren wie ich beim Komponieren!"
The 7 dwarfs take to the road through 7 different regions or countries. They visit the Tyrol, Spain, Sweden, France, Hungary, Scotland and Italy.
This composition is kept on an easy level for the bassoon as well as for the piano and consists of 7 different parts whose style describes the respective region or country. The composer greatly enjoyed working on these pieces and therefore chose the motto:
"May you enjoy playing your instrument as much as I enjoyed composing for you!"
Les 7 nains partent pour une randonnée et visitent le Tyrol, l’Espagne, la Suède, la France, la Hongrie, l’Ecosse et l’Italie. Cette composition pour basson et piano, d'un niveau facile, comporte sept parties qui s'inspirent du style respectif des différentes régions ou pays. Le compositeur s'est beaucoup amusé en les élaborant; c'est pourquoi il a ajouté à la fin de la composition:
« Que ton plaisir à jouer ces pièces soit aussi grand que le mien lorsque je les ai composées!»

Die Launen der 7 Zwerge
Die „Launen der 7 Zwerge“ setzen sich zusammen aus sieben leichten Stücken für Klavier und Fagott. Sie wurden im Anschluss an „Die 7 Zwerge auf Wanderschaft“ geschrieben.
Die sieben Launen stehen für sieben Charaktere oder Persönlichkeiten, die in diesem Werk beschrieben werden: Der Lustige, der Traurige, der Zornige, der Nachdenkliche, der Verliebte, der Tollpatschige und der Swingende.
Die Launen wurden mithilfe unterschiedlicher Mittel dargestellt, damit eine abwechslungsreiche und interessante Partitur gestaltet werden konnte.
The “moods of the 7 dwarfs” are 7 easy pieces for piano and bassoon. They follow the “7 dwarfs on tour”.
The 7 moods represent 7 characters or personalities: the funny one, the sad one, the angry one, the thoughtful one, the enamoured one, the clumsy one and the swinging one.
The moods were presented through different means, so that a varied and interesting score was created.
"Les humeurs des sept nains" est un ensemble de sept pièces faciles pour basson et piano. Ces pièces ont été composées consécutivement aux "Sept nains en randonnée".
Les sept nains ont chacun leur personnalité et cette œuvre veut les illustrer: le joyeux, le triste, le furieux, le pensif, l'amoureux, le pataud et le « jazzy ».
Pour décrire ces caractères, les pièces ont recours à différents moyens expressifs afin d'aboutir à une partition variée.

Orient Bassoon
Unsere Fagottisten sind mittlerweile auch im Orient unterwegs und lassen sich von der dortigen Musikkultur verzaubern. Orientalische Klänge und Rhythmen bilden die Grundlage dieses Werkes, das in zwei Teile gegliedert ist. Im ersten Teil (Andante) ist unser Fagottist auf dem Weg ins Morgenland und träumt vor sich hin. Im zweiten Teil (Allegro) findet er sich mitten in einem Basar wieder und lässt sich von den orientalischen Klängen berauschen.
Meanwhile our bassoonists are also travelling the East and feel spellbound by the local musical culture. The basis of this two-part piece is formed by oriental sounds and rhythms. In the first part (andante) our bassoonist is on his way to the East and daydreaming. In the second part (allegro) he finds himself in the thick of a bazaar and is inebriated by the oriental sounds.
Nos bassonistes sont désormais arrivés en Orient et sont subjugués par cette culture musicale. L’œuvre, structurée en deux parties, repose sur des couleurs et des rythmes orientaux. Dans la première partie (andante) notre bassoniste, plongé dans ses rêveries, est en route vers le Levant. Dans la deuxième partie (allegro) il se retrouve au milieu d’un bazar et se laisse enivrer par les sonorités orientales.

Dies ist die zweite Folge der Abenteuer des „Little Dino“, der Figur, die der Komponist im Jahre 2008 erfunden hat. Die tapfere Figur des „Little Dino“ schlummert langsam ein und beginnt zu träumen. In einem gruseligen Alptraum wird er von schrecklichen Monstern verfolgt, bis er schließlich aufwacht und Trost sucht. Schwierigkeitsgrad: leicht – mittelschwer
This is the second edition of ‟Little Dino’s” adventures. The composer created “Little Dino” in 2008. Here now, brave ‟Little Dino” slowly falls asleep and begins to dream. Terrible monsters pursue him in a fearsome nightmare until he finally wakes up and seeks consolation. Degree of difficulty: elementary to intermediate.

Little Dino and the Pirates
Unser kleiner Held ist in dieser Folge zuerst auf einem Piratenschiff, erlebt dann einen Piratenangriff, fährt durch eine blaue Lagune, entdeckt daraufhin eine Schatzinsel und nimmt schließlich am Tanz der Piraten teil. Schwierigkeitsgrad: leicht – mittelschwer
In this episode our little hero finds himself on a pirate ship, then he experiences a pirate attack, sails through a blue lagoon, after that he discovers a treasure island and finally takes part in the dance oft he pirates. Level of difficulty: easy – moderately difficult.
Dans cet épisode notre petit héros se trouve d'abord sur un navire de pirates, est confronté à une attaque des pirates, navigue à travers un lagon bleu, découvre l'île au trésor et participe finalement à la danse des pirates. Degré de difficulté: facile à moyen

Moon Bassoon
Au début de l'année 2008, et en l'espace de seulement quelques semaines, le compositeur réalisa cette œuvre pour basson et piano qui lui avait été demandée par son épouse, Christiane.
« Moon bassoon » comporte trois mouvements:
- Toccata on lunar rocks
- Mare Tranquillitatis
- The Luna’s Dance
L'unité de l'œuvre est assurée du point de vue thématique par le motif initial qui est élaborée sous des formes différentes dans chacun des trois mouvements.
Dieses Werk schrieb der Komponist für seine Frau Christiane zu Beginn des Jahres 2008 für ihr Examen im Konservatorium in Luxemburg. Die Form des Werkes ist traditionell gehalten und besteht aus drei Sätzen:
- Toccata on lunar rocks
- Mare Tranquillitatis
- The Luna’s Dance
Die Einheit des Werkes ist durch ein Motiv gegeben, das zu Beginn des ersten Satzes erklingt und dann in den drei Sätzen verändert und verarbeitet wird.
